• Pilot Project WEEE Exitcom

Exitcom, recycler of used ICT equipment, has developed a pilot project for the collection of WEEE in the municipality of Kadıköy/Istanbul. The collection containers are placed by Exitcom on sites that were approved by the municipality and the municipality is expected to actively participate in the promotion of the project. The intended duration of the project is 4 months starting from March 2005. Exitcom is fully responsible for the management of this project. • Public awareness Ministry of Environment & Forestry

The waste department of the Ministry of Environment & Forestry has distributed a letter to all municipalities. In this letter the municipalities are being informed about the obligations, tasks and activities resulting from the UPBA regulation.
